Drive1 Towing Limited ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us, how we use it, where it goes, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

When you call, send an SMS or email, or submit our quote/booking form we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle make/model/year, vehicle condition (whether it starts, can go into neutral, can be steered/rolled, where it's parked, key availability, accident/insurance involvement), pickup and drop-off locations, your preferred contact method, and any free-text notes you provide. We do not collect payment-card information through this website.

3. How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, dispatch a tow truck, plan a vehicle transport, prepare a quote, or coordinate with insurers, repairers or towing partners on your behalf.

4. Third-party form processor

The website's quote/booking form is delivered to our inbox via the third-party form service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). When you submit the form, your details transit through that service before arriving at drive1towing@hotmail.com. The form also uses a built-in CAPTCHA from that provider to filter automated spam. We do not use this data for marketing.

5. Where we store it

Enquiries arrive at our business email inbox. We retain job records for a reasonable period — typically 7 years where we are required to do so for tax and business records — to support invoicing, insurance follow-up and our legal obligations, and we delete or de-identify records when they are no longer needed.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where you have asked us to (for example, with a repairer or insurer connected to your job), with our towing partner if a job is sub-contracted with your knowledge, or where we are required to by law.

7. Your rights

8. Cookies and embedded services

This website does not set marketing cookies. The Google Maps embed used on the contact and service-area pages is provided by Google and may set its own cookies; please review Google's privacy policy for details. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and may produce log entries on Google's side.
